Memories: Who could ever forget Mr. Sciacca or Mr. Tracey? Not to mention Mrs. Freeman's gym classes!
Comments: I'm married with 3 great kids... a 4 yr old daughter, and 1 yr old twins (boy and girl)... and living it up here in God's Country... Virginia. Gave up my career in Law Enforcement to become a stay-at-home mom and don't regret that decision one bit. Moving here to the land of good ol' country boys was tough, but it was certainly worth it.
I hope everyone in what would have been my graduating class is living as happy and successful life as I am.

Comments: After all those wonderful years at DAHS I went over to Salk MS where I spent the next ten years teaching 8th grade English. It was fine but nothing compares to my years at Division. I will treasure them for as long as I live.)
I have been retired now for four years. in April of 2003 my wife and I moved to a beautiful new community in Florida. We are really loving it. It is just like being first married and building a new home. We are doing all the things we've always wanted to do like golfing, tennis, reading, eating out and traveling. The down side is that we miss our three little grandsons now aged 2, 6 and 9. But flying up to Long Island is very easy and we try to see everyone at least every 5-6 weeks.
I miss hearing from my old colleagues and former students so if you have a minute or two, please send me an email so we can keep in touch. I must admit that remembering everyone is becoming more and more of a challenge, but I'll do the best I can.

Memories: When I updated my info several months ago, I had spoken of my brother Brad's serious illness. On Aug. 27th, Brad passed away at his home in NJ. He is now at peace, and will live on in many minds as one of Division Ave.'s greatest basketball players. My family and I thank those that shared stories of Brad's life with us. It has made a difference knowing how much impact Brad had and laughter Brad shared with his classmates.

Memories: As an "un-lettered" football player being invited to the Varsity Club's 1959 Dance by a "lettered cheerleader" (Ava Berg).
Coaching the girls touch football games at the Azalea Road field on Sunday afternoons. Climbing the Azalea Road water tower to paint mine and Pat Kraft's initials (not in John Deere green). Graduating as validictorian, class of 1961 and a half (Tommy Smith was No. 2) in the summer of 1961 after three consecutive years in summer school at Levittown Memorial. Living American Grafitti before the movie was written. Learning that Jewish girls are great kissers. Making friends I'd still be talking to 43 years later.

Memories: Hanging out with the BEST people in the world - I've been all over and DAHS always wins out. Been living in Canada, since marrying a Torontonian in 1973. Was a junior high teacher for 5 years (Home Ec - thanks to Mrs. Drumm and Mrs. Huenlich) and have been a Dental Hygienist for 23 years - a very long story and I love it. Have a 20 year old daughter who lives in Banff, Alberta, training to be a chef. Family in Virginia and Florida so haven't seen Levittown in 'a million' years. Sorry I couldn't make the last reunion. I would've loved to see you all, especially Garber, and Kathy Mai since I haven't seen them since graduation. Still friends with Ronnie Epstein, Class of '68 and have seen Al Donnenberg, who is and always was a genius. Also saw Jon Greenfield right before 9/11. They both came to Toronto. Also still friends with Barbara Epstein. Our birthdays are a day apart. Anybody want to see about emigrating now that Mr. Bush is back for 4 years? Unfortunately our political scene is no better. Comments: I'm a pediatric cardiologist in private practice in New Hyde Park. Married to John Brunson (called Lloyd at home) He is also class of 1965. He is a software engineer at Northrup Grumman. We have 4 boys and a girl ranging in age from 16 to 30. Our daughter is the youngest. We have 2 in college and one in grad school at the moment. All are active in music, 1 professional, 1 part -time musician. Two are planning to be veterinarians, one wants to be a film director. Our daughter is an active dancer and competetive equestrian. Memories: Pickles at Joe's Deli North Village Green / Artie at the soda fountain next door / the first McDonald's down by Island Trees HS summer '60 / the first Mohawk haircuts in DAHS football history (me and Bob Bonacci were at fault) and by the end of the week half the team had 'em - they grew back somewhat before school started, a quart of Ballantine for 44 cents and a nickel back on the bottle from Sid's Deli (Joe knew I wasn't 18) Dan Dorgan's draft card, The Grotto, and Ryan's by Hoftstra / Coach DiMaggio telling me I would never be able to steal second or hit .300 if I started smoking - I never did - smoke that is. Come to think of it, I never hit .300 either but at least his mentoring me was something I will never forget. My first varsity dance and I didn't even have a letter - got invited by Ava Berg who DID have a letter as a cheerleader. Friday nights, saturday touch football, beach parties and yess all the summers spent at the Azalea Pool, tags and all. And who could forget summer school and all the "new" girls from Memorial and Island Trees who were there. Did anybody ever do homework in summer school? Trips tot the big haunted mansion in Old Westbury in the trunk of Billy Dineens Buick / kidnapping Cathy Burner with her brother's permission and getting chased by the cops in Billy Dineens very slow Buick, guns come out, Cathy's freed, Billy wets his pants, cops send us all home with a warning. We didn't go anywhere in Billy's Buick the rest of that summer for sure. People ask what Levittown was like. I tell them to get "American Grafitti" on DVD. Nuff said. I think its time to start on the book. See ya

Memories: We just had our 30th reunion this past fall. We had an excellent turnout and everyone was genuinely friendly and looked GREAT! Nobody aged from our class as evidenced by some of the pictures I will try to submit. The good thing was that the class of '74 partied before, during and after the reunion without incident and without getting chased out of the bleachers by the cops from the 8th precinct!
I think we all enjoyed ourselves and look foward to the multiple reunion next spring!!! ML

Memories: Even though my family had to move to Texas in 1967 when I was a sophmore I have very fond memories of many of my friends from DAHS.
My first boyfriend (you can guess who?). I still have the Valentine card he gave me.
Getting stood up on my first date - you know who you are and I forgive you.
I remember the football games behind the school.
I remember the school dances both at the school and with friends.
Those were the "good old days" - oh no I have turned into my parents :)
